The present highlights for Denver real estate show that currently there is a 4.5% increase in actual sold properties as closed sales and this is an overall increase of 2.1% stacked up against 2010. The sold prices of homes in Denver across the front range shows an increase in average sold price being at $275,610 which is a positive increase by 0.4% for home listings sold in Denver recently. This brings the absorption rate to a decreased time that sums up to the average days on the market being at around 4 months to sell a home in Broomfield, Lakewood, Westminster, or any of the other Denver suburbs and neighborhoods.

Data shows there is an increase in closed sales for December 2011 versus a year ago, and overall sales on condos in Denver and the surrounding areas are at a decrease of 1.1% putting 2012 figures up against 2011. Condominiums in Denver remain flat on sales price when compared to a year ago, with a slight decrease at 0.3% in the average sold price. What makes the Denver condo real estate market hot right now is the decrease in listed condominums for sale. The inventory is down -50.4% from a year ago, the total available condos for sale at 2,139.The sum of half as many condos listed and sales being almost the same means as a seller you have a much better chance of selling and in half the amount of time.
